The design challenge for this Homemaker centre in Burleigh was to create a building that maximised exposure to the extensive highway frontage but created individuality for the tenant.
The very long facade is permeated by iconic entrance features, a balance of solid and transparent forms, varying materials and colours, and walkway treatments that promote shopfront and signage.
This creates a juxtaposition of facade that maximises tenant presentation.
