This 538 bed facility is one of the largest private hospitals in Queensland. ThomsonAdsett provided architectural services for the redevelopment and refurbishment of The Wesley over a period of twenty years, during which time it has experienced a three-fold increase in size. This demonstrates our subspecialty in the modification of acute hospital facilities while they are still operational. An overarching goal to provide a less institutional environment for patients and staff has been achieved by developing designs in close collaboration with the client team. ThomsonAdsett has received the Australian Private Hospitals Association Award of Excellence for its contribution to the Wesley Hospital.
